My name is John Klimchak from Economic Evaluation Group, Inc. and I would like to tell you about an exciting employee benefit program that you can offer to your employees at absolutely no cost to your company. If you have 25 employees or more, each of your employees are eligible for an initial $500 or $1, 000 credit toward college tuition to almost any child that they designate. The credit increases up to one full years worth of college.
The best part is that any child who has not yet reached his/her sophomore year in high school, can be designated as the recipient of the tuition credit. Your employees can choose their own child, their niece or nephew, their grandchild, or even a friend or neighbor’s child.
Beyond the initial $500 or $1,000 credit, the future graduate will get an additional 5% credit of their entire balance of their 401K applied towards college. The maximum benefit is a full years worth of college for free. For example: If their 401k has $200,000 in it at the time of college, an additional credit of $10,000 is added to the $500 or $1000. This is a college tuition savings of $10,500 or more.
